In June 2025, Prof. Tu Shikui, tenure-track Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, officially joined the Center.

Prof. Tu Shikui is a doctoral supervisor, tenure-track Associate Professor at SJTU's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, a National Young Distinguished Expert, and Assistant Director of the Cognitive Machines and Computational Health (CMaCH) Research Center at the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering. He has long focused on machine learning theory and its applications in planning and decision-making, biomedicine, and computational finance, with over 50 publications in top-tier journals and conferences including Science, Cell, Nature Communications, IJCAI, AAAI, and ICML. He serves on the CCF Bioinformatics Committee, as Guest Editor for Frontiers in Genetics and Methods, and as Program Committee member for IJCAI, AAAI, ICML, NeurIPS, and other leading AI conferences. His honors include the Shanghai Computer Society Teaching Achievement First Prize, SJTU Teaching Achievement Grand Prize, and Huawei Pioneer Faculty Award. He has led 2 NSFC projects (Youth and General) and participated in national AI and Shanghai AI major projects.
