The Quantitative Finance Research Center of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (hereinafter "the Center") and JiaXi JingTang jointly announced the launch of "FuBao Box," a full-chain quantitative solution. The platform leverages the Center's academic strengths in financial mathematics, combined with JiaXi JingTang's AI and cloud computing technologies, to provide end-to-end functionality covering data cleaning, model backtesting, and risk alerts. It supports Python lightweight API and visual operations, with backtesting efficiency significantly improved over traditional tools.

The partnership also launched the "FuBao Box Education Plan," empowering talent development through course co-creation, research support, and talent incentives. Center Director Prof. Samuel Drapeau noted that "FuBao Box, through edge computing and privacy computing technologies, achieves millisecond-level strategy response, solving the 'last mile' bottleneck of translating laboratory results." JiaXi JingTang's Chairman shared that the platform has helped boost fund returns, with plans to expand to Southeast Asian markets.

On November 9, 2023, Ms. Liu Minyi, Chairman of JiaXi JingTang, was invited by the Center to chair a roundtable on "Quantitative Empowerment and Talent Development," bringing together industry leaders from CICC Research, PAMC Fund, and Taiping Asset Management. She emphasized that JiaXi JingTang will embrace cutting-edge fintech and make FuBao Box a product tailored to financial market needs. Meanwhile, Prof. Samuel Drapeau outlined the Center's future research directions across five areas: big data analytics, algorithmic and high-frequency trading, AI and finance, derivatives and systemic risk, and quantum computing. He expressed plans to establish long-term MOUs with major brokerages and financial institutions, using the FuBao Box platform to support course development and talent education.
