On November 22, 2024, the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University held the "Xing·Quan" Teaching Award ceremony and second-phase donation agreement signing ceremony at the Minhang Campus Science Building. The ceremony honored 10 outstanding faculty members who received the 2023 "Xing·Quan" Teaching Award.

Among the honorees were Samuel Drapeau and Prof. Lin Yiqing from the Quantitative Finance Research Center. Prof. Samuel Drapeau, with his deep academic expertise and cutting-edge teaching philosophy, broadens students' international perspectives; Prof. Lin Yiqing, with his rigorous scholarly approach and distinctive teaching methods, has achieved outstanding results in quantitative finance education.

This award is a strong recognition of both faculty members' teaching achievements and demonstrates the Center's excellence in talent development. The Center will use this as an opportunity to inspire more faculty to pursue excellence and contribute to the cultivation of quantitative finance professionals.
